In this video, we’ll take a look at the Composing features provided by the Jetpack plugin to check your spelling, style, and grammar, or enable Markdown syntax.
Markdown lets you compose posts and comments that include links, lists, and other styles using regular characters and punctuation marks. Markdown is used by writers and bloggers who want to quickly and easily write rich text, without having to take their hands off the keyboard, and without learning a lot of complicated HTML code or shortcuts.
You can use Markdown on your Jetpack-powered blog for posts, pages, and comments.
Jetpack can also check your spelling, grammar, and style using ‘After the Deadline’ proofreading technology. This module can be enabled by switching on, “Check your spelling, style, and grammar” in: Jetpack > Settings > Writing within your site’s Dashboard.
This video details how to enable Markdown and proofreading on your blog, so you can write better content more easily.
